Not the best day

Everyone knows...such a cliche...Today wasn´t the best day ever, tommorrow will fix it, but now all I want to do is to wrap in a blanket, make myself a nice cup of tea and watch some serie... and that is exactly what I am doing ... Scandal s04e05 to be specific

Maybe I have mentioned before, I am in my last year of architecture university and that means I am currently working on my last project. I have presented my idea for the first time, I was quite sure and everything went just super wrong. And the worst part is, I have agreed with my tutor and his criticism. And the even worse part is, I am right where I was five weeks ago - right at the beginning.

I know that a failure is a part of every art and of course a part of life itself, but i just simply hate the blank canvas. I like the part of creating a building when I am all digged in and ,,got the flow" and I usually have that, but now I am just ,,waiting" for it to come :)

Well that basically made my bad day, but also it made me thinking that maybe I just should work more and dig in more, which is not such a bad result after all.

By the way this is not the only thing that made my bad mood today, but it is the most important and also the only one architecture - related.

And also, I am uploading this stright away and I don´t wait for my critical eye at the morning :)

Good night and have a nice day tommorrow!

Sport usually help me. What does help you? :)

My little trip to Paris - I. La Défense

La Défence is the major business district in Paris. Some people say that here are situated all the buildings the Parisians didn´t want anywhere else. But who knows. You really don´t feel like in Paris, but that shouldn´t be a bad feature of the place. It is so different and unique that it is deffinitely worth visiting.

La Grande Arche

Beside the Grand Arche building on the beginning, this district shows a lot of amazing skyscrapers and just a lot different Paris. It is a working place, not historical or touristic like the most of Paris, but the athmosphere is just unique.

La Grande Arche

The Grand Arche building is a reminiscence of the Arche de Triomphe and it opens the major historical axis of Paris, which can be understood as a contrast, that modern buildings open the historical part of Paris.

La Grande Arche

When you stay under the Grand Arche and the city opens itself under your feet, you can see the Arche de Triomphe in front of you and all the people around, it is simply breathtaking.
